The excuse for the blog below: -Romp rompingly romps right around and when Romp romps, its a rompingly good time.
There's ... not really any excuse for that. Work tomorrow. My momie bought me things and spoiled me which was nice. She's pretty badass like that. Annd.. I am debating getting a vertical labret piercing done. It goes through the lip instead of into the mouth and its said to heal faster than standard labrets. We'll see. If I do it will be on Christmas break so I have awhile to think on it. I sound like a highschool emo girl. I promise is nots that! I ONLY LIKE THE CURE, NO OTHER EMO. I was going to tell you something else but I don't recall what it was. If I remember, I'll hollar. <3

Korean Cooking!

I was looking for healthy cooking on youtube (there's an idea!) and I came across one of Maangchi's videos. Considering its 3:40AM I'd say that I'm pretty hooked. Take a look at her site. I'm going to head over to her blog after I finish watching some more videos. Pure awesomeness!

Maangchi = Real Awesome!

Screw It

It didn't even last ten minutes. The layout I mean. Oh well. I like my space! I'll be back.

New Layout

I liked the old layout, I really did, but I didn't care for the lack of sidebar. Those things are important and while I wasn't currently using it, I may in the future!

So what do you think? I have these brushes downloaded for PS and they're awesome so when I saw this I had to try it.

All right. On with what I really came here to talk about!

I go back to work this week, Thursday. I'm not the trim 105 I wanted to be because... well, I haven't been doing anything. In fact, I've been pretty gross. 130 lbs worth of gross which must change. IS changing.

I heard something on youtube the other day and it stuck with me. They were talking about New Years Resolutions, and one comment said something along the lines of:

Waiting a whole year is too long. I make my new resolutions every day.

Seems simple and reasonable and yet I'd never thought of it. So, now that I've been enlightened that's what I'm going to do. Here are my plans as far as healthy weight loss and exercise:

*Eat 4-5 Small meals a day.

*Start each meal with two raw vegetables.

*Convert from coffee to green tea. This one is going to hurt, I can tell.

*Work out for 30 minutes, five times a week. This ones really going to hurt, I can tell.

*Drink half my body weight in ounces of water daily. Me=130 130 \ 2 = 65oz a day. Piece of cake!

*Eat a 1200 calorie daily diet.

What do you think? Am I going crazy? It doesn't seem like it.. Lets see. 1200 / 4 = 300 per meal. Yikes.

*NOTE TO SELF: Work on what 300 calorie meals look like... besides bunny food.

Failure

Failure I failed.

I did all of my pushups today except for the last ten. I think I'll wait a day and then try it over again.

I'm so upset! HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN? On a side note:

I also had unexpected company show up and stay for two days so my schedule is being pushed back by one.

Dammit!

My Week

My Week

I need to get these things done by... Tuesday would be ideal, but Wednesday is okay too... so, yes These Things Done By: Tuesday or Wednesday!:

*Shoes *Trash *Find homes for homeless room things *Hang up clothes *Get things together to be taken back to work. **Ratcage - Tomorrow!(Mon, 18)

Work starts on Thursday. I've been on unintientional semi-unemployment without unemployment benefits for about 2 months. So work will be nice as far as money is concerned. However, that does mean that I have to stop living like I'm on unintentional vacation. Which means see above list.

So lets break that down because I need to start really basic but not too basic.

Tomorrow/Today (Its 5:21AM (I know, I was doing so good too!): I will do the rat's cage and pick up trash/clutter.

Monday I will Do: Shoes, clothes and finding homes.

Which means on Tuesday I should only have to get things together to take back to work and on Wednesday I can hang out.

Oh!

And I have to do my push ups later today!

A New Short Long-term goal
*Learn the CSS to write my own art gallery website.

Surprise! Its 6:40 PM! +10 points for me!

Pretty good, that's a long time before my normal 4AM posts.

What do you think of the new blog layout? I'm a little concerned about all the wasted space on the left but I might get over it. Yes, concerned... lol.

I was thinking about Batman (because I have an unhealthy obsession with him) and that person that argued that maybe the Batman persona is the real side and Bruce Wayne is the shadow side, and I got to thinking that's probably true. I mean, most of us, just to meet social standards of normal, probably don't do what we might 'instinctually' want to do.

For instance: I know I'm not the only one that pictures smashing over one of those mobile ice-cream guys with the carts. Okay, maybe that's not instinctual

What about walk around naked? Only me? Or a long seated human desire tracing back to the days when the environment was more pure and it was all right to run free.

... I will probably revise this later.

The Shadow Side

The Shadow Side
According to Wikipedia the Shadow Side is:
In Jungian psychology, the shadow or "shadow aspect" is a part of the unconscious mind consisting of repressed weaknesses, shortcomings, and instincts. It is one of the three most recognizable archetypes, the others being the anima and animus. "Everyone carries a shadow," Jung wrote, "and the less it is embodied in the individual's conscious life, the blacker and denser it is." [1] It may be (in part) one's link to more primitive animal instincts,[2] which are superseded during early childhood by the conscious mind.
According to Jung, the shadow is instinctive and irrational, but is not necessarily evil even when it might appear to be so. I first heard about it when I was watching a documentary on the History Channel (I belive) about the psychology of Batman and his villains. They argued that maybe Batman is the truer self and Bruce Wayne was the Shadow Side. Anyhow, I found it interesting and that made me want to learn more about this shadow thing so here it is. I share with thee the fruits of my google searching!

Art pictures soon!

And Next, In the News!

I would just like to say... who gives a fuck what Michael Phelps is listening to?

Are these people trying to insult my intelligence?

How about Russia invading Georgia, or maybe how McCain made fun of his rival by handing out free tire gauges because Obama suggested that properly inflated tires could save on gas - which is true!

No, no, I think I'd rather know what Michael Phelps is listening to. Way to go loser.

**Side Note: I know I'm bitching. I'm sure at some point Yahoo ran those stories but I'm still insulted that that's their number one at this moment. Fucking: What Is Michael Phelps Listening To? ARRGHHHH -throws a table!-

Every new beginning comes from some other beginnings end..

I'm a mlean blean fighting cashine.

A mlean.. oh hell, you know what I'm trying to say. Its not true anyhow!... But I'm working on it.

I'm doing the 100 push ups thing (see sneaky hidden link in graphic) and I'd like to share all about it with you but for some reason this lovely site is sticking my tables in crazy places. Am I missing something? Why are they halfway down the page and horribly distorted? I'll figure it out... AND WHEN I DO, YOU CAN EXPECT SOME TABLES!

*Magical Update: I turned off the auto (br) or linebreak deal so now my tables aren't halfway around the world! ...Remind me of that when I get upset that my lines aren't breaking like they should.

**UPDATE: So, I'm doing them right now as I write this because I enjoy making my numbers go up. The first ten were fine, the second ten were a little trying, but by that first 8 I was starting to shake. I better take a little breakypoo. I'll get back to you on those last 6 and 7 (or you could say 13 but 6 and 7 seems so much friendlier!)

***UPDATE (yes, another!): I did it! And damned I'm shaking! Next push up day is Sunday the 17th. See you then!

In other news, I hung out with two of my girls today and watched The Usual Suspects for the first time. It was good. I was pretty confused in the beginning but I really enjoyed it once I figured out what was going on. Benicio Del Toro's in it, what's not to like?

Hopefully, tomorrow I'll be registering for online classes as well as heading back to work soon (simply thrilling, I know.) Maybe do some work on some forums I play on, but not until later, considering its 4:00AM right now. I've got to start getting to bed earlier but this is when my creative juices flow!

Speaking of which, I'll put photos up of some of my art. Remind me!
